Our community suffered a tremendous loss when eight people were murdered in the senseless tragedy at the Salon Meritage in Seal Beach on October 12, 2011. Among them, our dear friend and lead guide, Dave Caouette, was fatally shot while sitting in his 2003 Land Rover Discovery on his way to his favorite restaurant, Patty’s Place.

To honor Dave on the first anniversary of his passing, on October 12, 2012 we will hold a candlelight vigil in Seal Beach, and on October 13, 2012 we will venture on our second annual Off Road Memorial Run in Big Bear. For information, click here.
